Now everyone has finished January exams, we can get back to regular road riding. February is a critical month for those racing as it is a chance to knuckle down and get some serious training in before the upcoming races that follow at the beginning of March.
Wednesday A ride: We headed out into peak district, which was still covered in snow that fell in the previous days which made the peaks seem even more beautiful. While for the first time this year we had a proper turnout which was encouraging, hopefully this will continue for the rest of the semester. Similarly the B ride had a good turnout, they did a much flatter ride looping around the airport.
Saturday A ride: Headed out in peaks again this time further south towards Buxton, cycling on roads which we hadn't ridden before. This proved to be great fun as at one stage the road became a mixture of snow and ice, testing our cyclocross skills. The B ride did another flat ride out to Jodrell bank.
