As we get deeper into the winter months and temperatures start to fall, so do numbers, but those who have kept going have been rewarded with some really good rides despite the weather.
The A rides in the first half of November have been relatively flat to ease everybody back in after our mini break, with rides heading our towards Jodrell bank and a very wet ride out towards Mowcop. In the past week we've done some hillier rides, out east towards Castleton which we nearly had to cut short due to risk of running out of daylight, finishing the week with a very foggy ride but very enjoyable ride out to Todmorden.
Meanwhile the B rides are going just as strong, heading out toward Peak Dale and the hills around Marple, today riding a flat route out to Tatton Park .
We had our first race coaching session at Tameside circuit today. With focus on improving our racing technique which will hopefully lead to an even more successful season of racing next year!
The first session focused on cornering technique and chain-ganging, finishing the session with a 1 lap standing start TT which was an easy victory for the road captain Tarn Fynn.
The next session is in two weeks time!
